Sustainability On Kauai

Theo’l lady farm is developing a bank of 25 acre zoned for agriculture in west side of Kauai in the state of Hawaii, primarily for the production of sustainable, high quality cacao beans.

Our Farm’s Mission

Theo’l Lady Farms produces rare and fine cacao and chocolate that establishes Kauai as a premiere source for world-class chocolate, while supporting the Kauai community by sharing knowledge and providing education to chocolate lovers young and old.

We aspires to become one of the largest producers of fully traceable high quality cacao beans in the USA, offering a contrasting production model to the traditional small holder production system characterized by small under financed farms without access to high yielding plant varieties or the technical skills to manage them.

Projected Growth

The current crop is 300 trees ranging from 6 to 8 years in age (6 ft. to 12 ft.) with strong flowering and 50+ pods per tree, which produce twice Currently Theo’l Lady Farms is farm utilizing a twenty-five (25) acre agricultural parcel in Kealia Valley in the County of Kauai, Hawaii, for the production of cacao a year.

In the next 5 years, the farm will be expanded to host 16,000 trees and begin producing cacao beans for sale to upscale and boutique chocolate makers. After year 5, the operation will be expanded to also produce its own chocolate.
